Le projet oreille attentive vise à renforcer la notion de responsabilité en santé sexuelle et reproductive chez les élèves des 5 collèges partenaires de l’APESSA. Cependant durant l’année 2018, ce projet est mis en œuvre seulement au sein du Collège d’Enseignement Général « Le Méridien ».

Le recensement des besoins des apprenants s’y poursuit et renforce davantage les données de l’APESSA. De même à travers ce partenariat, plusieurs actions ont été exécutées à l’occasion des journées internationales de la jeunesse et de la lutte contre la violence faite aux femmes.

L’USAID avec son partenaire local MSH  et d’autres partenaires ont pour mission de mettre en œuvre un programme de santé à haut impact à l’endroit des communautés à la base. Ainsi les objectifs de ce projet sont de :

– renforcer la prestation des activités à haut impact en matière de paludisme, de planification familiale, de santé maternelle et infantile (SMNI), et de violence basée sur le genre (VBG) dans le secteur public de quatre départements au Bénin.

– contribuer à la réduction de la mortalité et de la morbidité maternelle, néonatale, infantile et des adolescentes, avec une forte participation en faveur de la santé de la part de l’administration publique et de la population.

L’APESSA contribue alors à la réalisation de ces objectifs en étant responsable du renforcement des capacités des groupes de jeunes et de femmes engagés dans des activités novatrices génératrices de revenus pour aider les communautés à défrayer les coûts des soins de santé.

Démarré en 2018, l’APESSA à travers ce projet, entend contribuer à la prévention des grossesses précoces à travers une intervention innovante basée sur un package social.

Le projet a connu un élan significatif en 2018. En effet, N’tchité a reçu l’approbation du Comité National d’Ethique pour la Recherche en Santé du Bénin. Avec l’appui d’une équipe de recherche multi disciplinaire, le projet ont connu une évolution dans la collecte des données, l’achat de matériel, l’attribution de bourses de recherche. Ainsi, en Juin 2018 à Bohicon a eu lieu le lancement proprement dit du projet.

Contribuer à l’amélioration de la santé de reproduction et sexuelle des adolescent(e)s et jeunes au Bénin, tel est l’objectif du projet.

Démarré depuis novembre 2015, ce projet a pris fin en septembre 2018. Il prend en compte la rédaction des curricula, la réalisation de l’outil Dialogue Parent Enfant et l’exécution d’un plan de communication. Ces trois dimensions du projet ont connu une évolution certaine au cours de l’année 2018.

Au cours de la même année, le lancement officiel de l’expérimentation du projet ESS à l’échelle nationale a été fait en présence de partenaires et autorités politico administratives concernés. Courant 2018, la validation du guide de Dialogue Parent Enfant et la formation des encadreurs et expérimentateurs ont été également un succès.
